Stakeholders discuss climate policy

FIJI'S climate change policy is expected to be finalised by the end of October after consultation with stakeholders around the country.

At the first draft policy consultation in Labasa yesterday, where government officials and stakeholders discussed climate change issues, impacts such as eroding coastal shores was also discussed.

Climate change scientist Professor Patrick Nunn said the policy would outline Fiji's strategies of dealing with climate change issues.
