Missing duo safe on land: Police

Update: 1:57PMTHE two men reported missing at sea when they failed to reach their destination after leaving Nabouwalu in Bua yesterday have been reunited with their loved ones.

Fiji Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said a few minutes ago they had managed to confirm that the two had reached land safely this afternoon.

She thanked everyone for their assistance.

Police had earlier reported today that the two men - aged 20 and 60 - had left Nabouwalu for Rakiraki, Ra, yesterday morning.

They were traveling on board a blue and white fibreglass boat named 'Emmanual'.

Police had said that the 60-year-old man had called his wife who resides in Lautoka that they had left Nabouwalu.
