ASCO Motors Fiji has been selected as one of the recipients of the phase five government leasing tender award.

This was confirmed by company CEO Craig Sims.

Mr Sims said they were still working on the total value of the tender.

"We will be releasing the total value of the tender this Friday at the South Pacific Stock Exchange (SPSE). We are still working with the Government over the quantities and timings. At the moment the number of vehicles is still to be decided," Mr Sims said.

"The number of vehicles will be more than the last phase which included about 340 vehicles. We haven't got to the contract stage yet. We are still doing that. Once we get our contracts signed, we will work out the delivery schedule for these vehicles."
