DEFENCE Minister Ratu Inoke Kubuabola has assured the nation that his ministry will do its part to preserve law and order and keep people secure in the lead-up to the 2018 General Election.

Ratu Inoke said the assigned disciplinary forces were prepared leading up to the 2018 poll.

"I take this opportunity to inform this august House that the ministry, through the assigned disciplinary forces, is prepared leading up to the general election in 2018 and in the events following to ensure that not only is stability imperative, but that the elections are run safely and transparently," he said.
