Wednesday, August 23, 2017

VILLAGE and district meetings have received reports of youths being lured to their farms for the love of cash from yaqona.

A recent meeting at Valovoni Village in Saqani, Cakaudrove, heard that the village was mostly empty throughout the week days.

Head of mataqali Natewa Josua Vosawale said the village youths and men made good use of the high yaqona price.

Villager leaders describe how empty villages in the north are in your copy of The Fiji Times newspaper or see the story on our E-Edition which you can subscribe to at this link: http://subs.fijitimes.com.fj
