Aqela Susu
Wednesday, August 23, 2017

TEACHERS who reach retirement age in the middle of the year will be allowed to complete their term in office until the end of that year.

This was clarified by the Attorney-General and Economy Minister, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum, after concerns raised by teachers during a job evaluation consultation for teachers in the Central Division at Jai Narayan College in Suva yesterday.

He made the comment while responding to a question raised by Veiuto Primary School head teacher Rafaele Madra.
