Doctor testifies in murder case

A DOCTOR who examined a man accused of murder told the court that mental illness does not mean that a person will resort to violence when they feel offended.

Livai Lino is on trial in the High Court in Suva for the alleged murder of Ashwin Roy.

He allegedly stabbed Mr Roy to death with a kitchen knife outside a supermarket in Navakai, Nadi, in 2013.
