Elenoa Matanisiga is eager to stamp her mark in the boxing ring after her unanimous points decision win over Katrina Singh in the 4x2 minutes at Lawaqa Park yesterday.

The Navola boxer from Navosa proved too powerful connecting some clean shots that gained her the much needed points in the Kiran Boxing Promotion.

She calculated her other fight well and forced Singh on the back foot with some heavy punches.

Singh on the hand landed few powerful shots but failed to maintain the momentum. Matanisiga said she was grateful to win her first fight.

"This is a good start for me and I am happy with my first win," she said.

"My aim is to pursue my boxing career and to stamp my mark in the ring."

Matanisiga said she would train hard and return with an improved performance in her next bout.
