According to the bride's mother Ivamere Fifita, her son in law had always been a part of their family.

"Actually Semi started it off by calling me mum during his school days," Ivamere said.

"I taught him back at LDS Secondary School and little did I realise or did I know that this would happen, it was a surprise, but a good surprise."

She said Radradra had always been referring to her during his high school years as mummy but back then he and Fifita were best friends then.

She said he used to come visit their family a couple of times before and as one of their family friends it was only fitting for him and Fifita to get married.

"This is just a beginning of a wonderful relationship between Semi's family and Vika's family.
