JACK'S brand QAQA Fiji assisted Veiyasana Reds, a small community rugby club in Korociri Nadi with their new set of rugby jersey.

The team plays in the Nadi Rugby Union club competition.

Manager Josua Niumataiwalu said they were grateful to QAQA for thinking about the club.

"This is our fifth year of running and QAQA (Jack's) is the first company and sponsor to come on board to assist the team," Niumataiwalu said.

He said majority of their player were unemployed who turned to rugby as their source of income.

"We have a lot of very talented rugby boys playing in the club. Two of our players have done well so far and we know there are other players who can follow in their footsteps," he said.

"Semesa Mudu is currently playing in the wing for the Nadi Rugby Union team while Netani Dauciri has secured a contract in New Zealand.

The club have been using a set of jerseys for the past four years

Niumataiwalu said every weekend the team played they made sure to patch up all the torn jerseys and shorts from previous game so they were able to use them for the next game.

"For the love of the game, players do not care of torn jerseys, but as long as they play rugby for that weekend," he said.

"The team is made up of boys from around Fiji leaving in the area.

Jack's marketing and public relations officer Biu Veikauyaki was honoured to assist the club.

"QAQA is a locally owned brand, locally named, locally designed and locally manufactured.

"It's a great feeling to see the smile on the players' faces and the new set of jersey will no doubt bring a new breath of life for the team this season."
