Fiji nightingales graduate up North

Update: 12:58PM NINETY one students graduated this morning from the Sangam College of Nursing and Health Care Education with a Bachelor of Nursing Science degree.

Another eight graduated with Post-Graduate Diploma in Nurse Practitioner.  

Speaking at the ceremony, the school's academic board chairman, Amraiya Naidu, reminded graduates of the importance of their calling saying it was a divine one. 

Mr Naidu told nurses they played an important role in assisting doctors look after patients in hospitals they would be stationed at.

He said the nurses were now in a better position to provide practical advice to students pursuing higher studies on how they could succeed.
