PIDF Summit: Stage set for promising outcomes

Update: 11:29AM THE Pacific Islands Development Forum (PIDF) Leaders summit at Honiara in the Solomon Islands will start today.

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama during his Pre-Summit closing remarks as PIDF Chairperson last night said that the valuable discussions at the Tok Tok sessions yesterday have set the stage for today's  summit.

"We have together highlighted challenges and identified promising strategies to fight for the healthy future of our oceans and nations. 

"Our productive discussions and promising outcomes are owed in no small part to your leadership throughout the pre-summit."

The theme of the summit is "Stewardship for healthy ocean and healthy nations."
