North team receive damage reports

Update: 11:03PM VILLAGERS and communities in the Nadogo, Dogotuki and Udu areas felt the full brunt of Tropical Cyclone Winston as it passed by the Northern Division today.

Commissioner Northern Jovesa Vocea said they would deploy a damage assessment team to affected areas once the weather improved.  

Mr Vocea said they also received damage reports from Bua, Cakaudrove, adding, they were yet to gauge the extent of damage. 

He said they were still trying to regain communication with the island of Taveuni and nearby areas.
