Thursday, January 22, 2015

The South Pacific Tourism Organisation (SPTO) has announced the appointment of Makelesi Muloilagi as its new marketing officer.

SPTO chief executive officer Ilisoni Vuidreketi said Mrs Muloilagi's inclusion was timely as the marketing division geared up for another year of competitive destination promotion and marketing in this year for its 16 member countries.

"A strong and vibrant marketing team is crucial to effectively responding to the huge demand we are witnessing from our major source markets for and on behalf of our member countries," he said yesterday. Mrs Muloilagi holds a Masters degree in commerce in management and public administration, and a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in industrial relations and management from the University of the South Pacific.
