Update: 11:00AM DIGICEL Fiji is proud to announce the new 3G+ network introduced in some islands in the Lau Group, Beqa Island and Savusavu in Vanua Levu.

This move is part of Digicel Fiji's huge $70million investment announced last month.

In a statement, company CEO Darren McLean says the 3G+ roll-out in the Lau Islands is of significant value for its customers.

"The government stations, the hospital, post office and the police post based in Lomaloma in Vanuabalavu will now have superior internet speeds to help them with their day-to-day business," he said.

In the Lau archipelago, Lakeba, Lomaloma, Cicia and Mago Islands are now on the Digicel 3G+ service.
