Charity Golf

THE Fiji Ship Owners and Agents Association Charity Golf tournament in aid of Colonial War Memorial Hospital's Fiji Childrens' Overseas Treatment Trust Fund will be held on Friday, September 19 at the Fiji Golf Club. Registration for the stableford event is $20 per person.


Nadroga Men's and Mixed

THE knockout has been postponed to October 4 at 10am at Lawaqa Park Sigatoka. All Coral Coast hotels, business houses and villages are invited to join the Nadroga Men's and Mixed Netball Association 2014 season. Registration fee is $100 per team (Open/Mixed). Winner walks away with cash and also runner-up will get cash. Teams are to assemble by 10am and Gabriele Qoro will be our chief guest. Umpires Kalesi (Lautoka), Poasa, Keresi (Nadi), Bola, Torika, Litia Vatureba (Navosa). Teams are to be in proper sports uniforms and gear. Registration closes on Wednesday, October 1 and special managers meeting will be held at True Blue Hotel at 3pm. Fees to be paid on time. Nadroga/Navosa Umpires

THOSE umpires who passed the C-badge are to attend a meeting on Tuesday, September 9 at the True Blue Hotel at 5pm. This is regarding hosting a workshop with the western umpires in late September. THE Fiji Gold Nasinu Netball awards night will be held on Friday at Albert Park podium, starting from 6-11pm. Contact Vaka at the Boulevard .

Salad Bowl

TRAINING daily at Lawaqa ground 2 at 4.30pm. Players are reminded to attend final trials to select one open and two mixed teams for the opening of Nadroga Men's and Mixed Netball season. Under-23 players trials on Tuesday and Wednesday from 4pm.

Players are reminded to come with the warm up T-shirt for Salad Bowl $5. Open women's players are to train daily for Veivatuloa 7s and Mokani 7s. Gunu sede will be held on Thursday, September 4 at Grayelen Lodge at 7pm. Meeting for all executives on Thursday. CMF Labasa 7s

THE CMF Labasa Rugby 7s tournament will be held from October 16 to 18. 40 teams will be accommodated. Entry fee is $200 per team. Prizes: Winner: $5000. Runner-up: $2000. Semi-finalists: $600. Plate Winner: $600. Runner-up: $400. Bowl Winner: $400. Runner-up: $200. Best Player: $100. Furthest travelling team: $100. Closing Date: September 30, 2014. Coastal Great 8 7s

THE Coastal Great 8 7s is a qualifying tournament for the 2014 Bayleys Fiji Coral Coast Sevens. All team managers interested in registering their teams to play in the 2014 Coastal Great Eight are requested to register via e-mail or by calling 929 7337. Entry Fee is $500 per team and this is the only way you can win your way into the 2014 Bayleys Fiji Coral Coast Sevens.

Farebrother Sullivan Trophy Challenge

THE following dates have been set for the 2014 HFC Bank Farebrother Challenge:

Mount Saint Mary's 7s

New Vision 7s

THE New Vision 7s would be held on September 13 at Thomson Park in Navua. First 24 teams to pay entry fees by September 10 would be accommodated. Winner gets $1000, runner-up gets $500 and there is a consolation prize for plate winner. Contact Wame on 9000279 or 9369559.

Ovalau 7s

THE Ovalau Rugby Union is organising a sevens tournament on September 19 and 20 at Levuka. Registration fee is $250. Total prizemoney is $8000. First prize is $3000. Teams from outside Ovalau are invited to participate. The first 24 teams to pay their registration fees will be included. THE Perfect Aluminum Rewa Delta Uprising 7s tournament will be held at the Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori on September 27. Winner will receive $1500, runner-up $700. INTER-secondary school competition will be held on September 12 and 13 in Suva in the boys and girls U20, U18, U16, U14 and U12 categories at the Laucala Bay Fiji Sports Council facilities.
