By LUKE RAWALAI
Wednesday, September 03, 2014

Update: 3:00PM INSTEAD of preparing for todays scheduled pre-polling, the villagers of Nabouono in Udu attended to their routine activities because they were informed that polling would take place tomorrow.

However, when the Fiji Times team contacted them to seek an update on the polling progress, village headman Epeli Batidamuni was surprised, saying polling would begin tomorrow.

He then directed some men to recall those who had gone out to sea and their farms.

Mr Batidamuni said 40 voters from the village were expected to cast their votes today.
