Family dispute leaves one dead, two in hospital

Update: 11:46AM A 39-YEAR-OLD man is in police custody following the death of his father-in-law this morning.

Police spokeswoman Ana Naisoro said the incident occurred at their Nasinu home around 1.30am.

She said the suspect allegedly assaulted his wife and both in-laws with foreign objects following a heated argument.

Ms Naisoro said neighbours came to the assistance of the victims and conveyed them to the hospital where the father-in-law was pronounced dead.

She said the other two victims remain admitted at the CWM Hospital as investigations continue.
