Group hosts suicide prevention symposium

Update: 11:00AM A SYMPOSIUM on suicide prevention will be hosted by Empower Pacific tomorrow, ahead of World Suicide Prevention Day on September 10.

The Lautoka organisation will also launch a new information brochure and television advertisements on the subject at the Tanoa Waterfront Hotel, where members of the community will share their experiences in dealing with suicide.

 World Suicide Prevention Day has been commemorated annually since 2003, with this years theme being  one world connected.
