THE Fiji Police Force has completed investigations into the death of Vilikesa Soko, says Commissioner of Police Ben Groenwald.

Thirty-year-old Soko died in police custody at the Lautoka Hospital on August 20 and following claims that officers brutally assaulted him, a criminal investigation was launched.

Last week, four officers were suspended pending these investigations.

"The commissioner says investigators are in the process of compiling the case docket before it will be forwarded to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions on Wednesday," said a police statement yesterday morning.
