Police: Please value life

Luke Rawalai
Tuesday, September 02, 2014

POLICE are calling on people to refrain from resorting to suicide as a means of addressing conflicts.

The plea follows reports received at the Labasa Police Station, making it the third on Sunday night only.

Police spokesman Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said the incident was not common in the North only and they had also received reports from stations across the country as well.

Insp Sokomuri urged people to value their lives and realise that we all have one chance at living.

"No one is blessed with many lives and people should learn to appreciate their lives," said Insp Sokomuri.
