Accident in Nadi claims man's life

Update: 11:57AM A MAN in his early 30s is the latest road fatality in Fiji.

Police confirm the man was travelling with three other passengers when the vehicle veered off the road and tumbled twice before landing upside down. 

The other passengers sustained minor injuries and were treated at the Nadi Hospital before being sent home.

Police say the incident occurred a little after midnight this morning along the Sariyawa Road, Momi, Nadi.

 The road death toll currently stands at 36 compared to 25 for the same period last year.
