FIJI is now embarking on the most important election of its time, said President Ratu Epeli Nailatikau during the Hilton Art Exhibition in Suva on Wednesday.

Ratu Epeli said people would have noted that there were only few days remaining before the election on September 17.

He said most fundraising events were mainly geared towards raising funds for political campaigns now.

He said Fiji's Constitution provided a vastly expanded Bill of Rights for all people including the rights of persons living with disability.

"I hope that Fiji will be able to progress this right to include the right to early intervention," Ratu Epeli said.
