NEW and innovative projects are being introduced by the Western Charity Alliance and Vodafone Fiji Foundation to help unemployed youths engage in community work.

Western Charity Alliance executive director Jitendra Naidu says this will help youths and school students develop their communities during school holidays.

"We are engaging and empowering youths or schoolchildren to join subsistence farming to sustain the livelihoods of people in the community," he said.
