Police promise progess update on Soko death probe

Update: 9:32AM POLICE have assured members of the public that they will be updated on the progress of investigations in regards to the death of Vilikesa Soko.

Spokeswoman Ana Naisoro issued the following statement this morning.

"Please be advised that we will issue a statement on the progress of the investigation into the death of Vilikesa Soko if there has been any further substantial developments.

"Other than that we can only confirm that the four officers continue to be questioned."

Mr Soko is alleged to be one of five men involved in the daylight heist of the City Forex money exchange outlet in Nadi recently.

He was subsequently caught and allegedly died from injuries sustained during his capture and while in police custody.
