Man's body found in creek near Subrail Park

Update: 1:34PM A MAN was found dead at a creek near Subrail Park in Labasa, Vanua Levu this morning.

Divisional police commander Northern SSP Naulumatua Lutunacaucau confirmed the deceased was found by stall holders at the Vodafone Festival of the Friendly North about 8am.

"At this stage, we can confirm that the body of a man was found at the creek. Information are still sketchy as we are still waiting for the post mortem (examination) results," he said.

"That's all we can say at the moment and we will comment further once we receive the report."
