Monday, August 25, 2014

CHAMPION Nadroga rugby 15s coach Esala Nauga was surprised to be named the Skipper Cup coach of the competition.

Nauga attributed his award to his players and the team management who worked hard with him throughout the season.

"I was surprised to be named the coach of the competition," he said.

"There are other coaches who could have won the award but I'm thankful to the Lord for the opportunity.

"I thank the players and my other coaches who helped me throughout the season. I believe they contributed to this achievement."

Stand-in Naitasiri coach Samu Domoni finished as the competition's runner-up to Nauga.

Nadroga's inside centre Eroni Vasiteri was named the player of the competition.
