MISS Hibiscus 2014 Nanise Rainima has started her preparations for the Miss South Pacific pageant.

Yesterday, she promised to give her best at the pageant and let God take over the rest.

Sponsored by Apco Coatings at the week-long Hibiscus Festival, Ms Rainima was yesterday busy with fellow queen contestants, king category contestants and members of the organising committee picking up litter strewn across Albert Park after the festival ended on Saturday night.

Ms Rainima's parents Maika and Inise Rainima were by her side showing their support for their child who proved to be the favourite during the Hibiscus Festival, collecting four awards including the Hibiscus crown.
