NFP to meet squatters

Update: 4:50PM THE National Federation Party plans to meet with squatters outside Lautoka on Tuesday for further discussions on the land problems highlighted at recent meetings.

Candidate Jagannath Sami met residents of Lovu, Lautoka, where concerns were raised from the floor on native leases. A participant said that since being required by the i Taukei Land Trust Board (TLTB) to cease from directly paying land-owning units, they were now being chased up for payments by the landowners. We will ensure tenure security if we get into government, Mr Sami said
