Technicians working to fix Penang Mill generator

Update: 5:16PM AN ISSUE with the generator powering the Penang mill in Rakiraki forced the temporary suspension of crushing at the factory yesterday.

Fiji Sugar Corporation executive chairman Abdul Khan said the issue should be resolved by midday tomorrow.

 "The 3 megawatt generator provides power to the whole mill and our technicians are working to get it fixed by noon," he said.
