Update: 6:30PM STUDENTS from secondary and primary schools in Fukuoka, Japan who are here on a week-long home stay cultural exchange program were today welcomed at the Suva Vocational Centre.

Speaking at the welcoming ceremony, Bridge Club Secretary Shabneez Shazmine says the cultural exchange program has been taking place for the last 26 years and Fiji has always participated by sending students to Fukuoka.

Ms Shazmine says this is the first time for students of the Asian Pacific Children's Convention (APCC) to come to Fiji and experience the culture and lifestyle of Fijian people.
