Update: 1:30PM TWELVE students from the Annexe de Lycee professional (ALP) La Foa technical school in New Caledonia are in Fiji for a week-long cultural exchange program.

The French school is working with the Fiji National University's College of Hospitality and Tourism Studies in Nadi to offer students the opportunity to exchange knowledge about traditional and cultural heritage as well as culinary influences.

The visit also provides the French-speaking students a platform to learn more about their Melanesian neighbours and practice English.
