First sugar shipment rolls out this week

Update: 1:10PM THE first sugar ship docked at Malau Wharf in Labasa, Vanua Levu yesterday with an average of 18,000 tonnes of sugar to be loaded for shipment this week.

FSC executive chairman Abdul Khan this morning said the ship would load sugar from Malau before travelling to Lautoka in western Viti Levu later in the week.

He said the next shipment is expected later in the month.
