Fire completely destroys church hall

Update: 12:07PM THE Vunidakua Methodist Church Hall which has been identified as one of the polling stations for the upcoming General Elections was this morning razed to the ground by fire.

Residents of Cunningham Stage 3 in Tamavua, Suva watched in shock as flames totally engulfed the wooden structure  - destroying the building.

The firefighters managed to stop the fire from spreading to another wooden house located behind the hall and a corrugated iron house beside it.
