Chaudhry files nomination

Update: 10:50AM THE Fiji Labour Party has filed the nominations of 42 candidates to contest the general election.

Among the nominations is that of party leader Mahendra Chaudhry.

Mr Chaudhry confirmed to the media outside the Elections Office in Suva a short while ago that he has filed his nomination too.

"The fight is still on," Mr Chaudhry said.

He said the party was concentrating on certain areas only, thus the nominations for 42 candidates.
