Roosters impressed with win

Monday, August 18, 2014

AUSTRALIA - Roosters coach Trent Robinson said his side's performance was just the tonic they needed ahead of a tough final three games of the season.

The team take on the Warriors in Auckland next week before closing out the regular season at home to Melbourne and South Sydney.

"We have a big game going to New Zealand next week and it was important to win here," Robinson said.

"Everyone is putting pressure on one another and it's exciting and that is what we want.

"It was a real Roosters performance ... we were really happy at halftime and we needed to keep the physical in the second half and we did that."
