Golden Jubilee: Methodists reminded to maintain faith

Update: 2:50PM METHODIST Church of Fiji congregation were reminded to maintain their faith as they celebrated the opening of the Golden Jubilee Celebration at the Vodafone Arena in Suva today.

More than 4000 members of the church from around the country and invited guests were encouraged to persevere in their faith and to remember what the church leaders in the past had sacrificed to get the church to where it was today.

Methodist Church interim president Reverend Laisiasa Ratabacaca said members of the church had to strive at all times to thoroughly understand Jesus Christ .

"When you know Jesus well, you will love him clearly and will at all times follow him," Mr Ratabacaca said.
