Police nab $50,000 robbery suspects

Update: 2:00PM POLICE have arrested two people alleged to have been part of a gang of robbers that allegedly stole $50,000 from the City Foreign Exchange in Nadi yesterday.

Police West spokeswoman Naina Ragigia confirmed the two men were arrested this morning in Sigatoka.

Meanwhile, three other men involved in the robbery are still at large with roadblocks now visible along the Queens Highway. 

According to police, five masked men were involved in the robbery and fled in a taxi registration LT 7211.
