MISS Galaxy Tonga might be new to the Adi Senikau pageant but she is ready to deliver what she came to do.

She is accompanied by 11 people who travelled from Tonga in a show of support as she competes in this year's pageant.

Fiji Tongan community secretary Eleni Tevi said this was the first time they had an Adi Senikau contestant from Tonga.

"We are hoping to have this kind of annual practise often.

"This year we have a couple of queens putting together some show and did a bit of fundraising in Tonga to help our queen and bring the members the Tonga Lady Association in the country."

"She will perform an item called the tavake (tropic sea bird).

"It portrays more on the message she brings with her and showcases the importance of the tavake and its adaptation to both land and sea."
