Jones faces setback

AUSTRALIAN Brendon Jones faced a setback upon his arrival for the Fiji International with his suitcase and equipment not being part of the onboard baggage.

Jones last visited Fiji as an 11-year-old and is keen to find his mark in the inaugural tournament.

He said the tournament would be challenging.

"It is a setback with the suitcase and equipment not arriving but that is not the end of the world," the 39-year-old said.

"Where I live back in Australia, it is minus six degrees overnight so it is nice to get into the sunshine.

"I have walked around the back nine and it is a beautiful golf course.

"This week you will have to be in control of the ball.

"The wind will get very strong. Visually it is an excellent course and there will be some good scores."
