Ahmed swings to victory in classic

NATIONAL elite squad member Zoheer Ahmed took out the Smugglers Cove Nadi Classic at the Nadi Airport Golf Club on Sunday.

Ahmed carded two over par 142 in the 36 holes stroke event.

Barroon Hussain finished as the runner-up with 146.

Praneel Prasad won the overall nett title.

He scored 137.

Shavil was the runner-up with 138. He also won the overall junior title.

Ram Khelawan won the seniors overall gross title. Khelawan scored 164.

Balram won the overall nett in the seniors with a score of 142.

Sereima Bale won the ladies gross with a score of 89. Janice Hinton won the ladies nett with a score of 66 nett.
