THE Vodafone Fiji Secondary Schools competition will be held from tomorrow until Sunday at Govind Park in Ba.

THE following Fiji netball umpires have been named to umpire at the Fiji Secondary Schools Netball Tournament to be held in Suva on Thursday and Friday.

Suva — Samuela Tucava, Sikeili Tuwai, Semisi Bainivalu, Seini Naitagotago, Tiko Nabalarua, Alefa Vosarogoci, Iggy Sucuturaga, Ateca Chilly, Moape Vu, Gabrielli Qoro, Esala Luke, Vilive Vatuquto, Dominiko Tabuaura, Joshua Qalo, Filomena Korovulavula; Nasinu — Litia Rabitu, Rejieli Rabitu, Yvonne Vaka, Divui M, Lolohea T, Dimere , Losalini Bainivalu, Lakalaka; Tailevu — Talica, Ilaitia Tala; Nadi — Koresi T; Lautoka — Thomas Hicks, Kalesi Raloka, Taraivosa Senico, Semisi Vunibola, Kini Drasuna, Saul, Farasiko; Ba — Josua; Navosa - Judy Kumar, Nabola M; Nadroga - Maciu.

After the first day of games, we will have our Fiji Umpires Netball Association meeting at the Laucala Bay Secondary Schools. This is an important meeting so all umpires are encouraged to attend, even if you are not umpiring at the Fiji Secondary Schools Tournament. Time for the meeting is 8pm in the evening.

Lomary

THESE are the teams and categories that have confirmed to participate in the Lomary Netball Tournament this weekend. Open Women: St Joseph the Worker, Vunibau, Gusuniwai, Corpus Christi Teachers College, St Agnes, Omega-Deuba, Naboutini 1, Cabrini Netters, Naboutini 2, Dranikula USP Divas, Naculava, St Francis of Assisi, St Peter Nabukavesi, Nawaisomo, Breakthrough, Pacific Harbour, Sourthern Police, Lomaiviti Suva,; Veteran Women (35 years and over): Team Taki, LomaniBai, Waidradra, Lomaiviti Suva; Mixed Teams (5men + 2 women) - Navosa Salad Bowl, Outrigger, Uprising, USP Reefs, Lomaiviti Suva, USP Waives, Bula Babas.

Nadroga Men's and Mixed

INVITES clubs to join the official opening on August 30th at Lawaqa Park at 10am. Registration is $100 that includes Open and Mixed Team. Selection for the National Championship will be held on the same day. Teams from Nadroga/Navosa are welcome to join NMMNA 2014 Season. Friendly games will be held this Friday at Nadroga Sangam School grounds at 4pm. Ravuka Sharks Duty Team. Contact Secretary Kumar 6502123.

RUGBY

Ba Provincial Holdings 7s

THE Ba Provincial Holdings 7s tournament will be held at Nadovu Park in Lautoka on August 22 and 23. Registration fee is $150. Contact Samuela Saubale on 6669534.

Lomaiviti women's

ALL interested ladies and girls of Lomaiviti or diehard fans wanting to join the Lomaiviti Women's Rugby Club, training is being held at Albert Park Ground 4 at 5.30pm. Contact Basha Savuro 9362595 or 3303525.

Ovalau

THE Ovalau Rugby Union is organising a sevens tournament on September 19 and 20 at Levuka. Registration fee is $250. Total Prizemoney is $8000. First prize is $3000. Teams from outside Ovalau are invited to participate. The first 24 teams to pay their registration fees will be included. Stallions Harvest 7s

THE tournament will be held at Prince Charles Park in Nadi from September 19 to 20. First prize is $7000. Entry fee is $700 and only first 48 teams will be accommodated. Mount Saint Mary's 7s

Waimaro Circuit 7s

Vatuwaqa 7s

The Vatuwaqa 7s tournament will be held on August 30 at Marcellin Primary School grounds. Only 48 teams will be accommodated. Registration fee is $50. Yasawa

THE Yasawa High School rugby 7s and netball tournaments will be held from August 14-15. The tournaments will be played at the school ground. Entry fee: $100.
