NADROGA will be keeping a close watch on the second Skipper Cup semi-final between Naitasiri and Nadi this Saturday at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori.
The Stallions have booked its spot in the competition final after beating Suva 40-22 at Lawaqa Park over the weekend.
Nadroga Rugby Union president Tiko Matawalu said both teams were strong and would make an ideal opponent for them in the final.
While wishing both teams well for the game this weekend, he said Nadroga had started its preparation for the final.
Matawalu said they had been beaten by both teams in the previous provincial competition final.
Nadroga lost to Nadi in 2008 and to Naitasiri in 2010.
"Both of them are quality teams and it doesn't make any difference who makes the final," Matawalu said.
Meanwhile Nadroga yesterday released the 2014 HFC Farebrother Challenge order.
The team will defend the prestigious trophy against Naitasiri, the first challenger, on August 30.
Nadroga will then play Northland, Suva, B Division Champion, Tailevu, Namosi, Vatukoula and Nadi.
Matawalu said the order was designed to maintain the competitiveness in the challenge.
"We want to keep the momentum going throughout the challenge," the former Nadroga skipper said.
"This was a collective decision, right from the players to the executives of the union were involved in making this order.
"We are trying to go away with the normal routine where the weaker teams are put first followed by stronger teams. We are treating all teams equally because we know there are no weak teams in this competition."
The order and dates for the challenges: 30 August - Naitasiri, 6 September - Northland, 13 September - Suva, 20 September - B Division Champion, 27 September - Tailevu, 4 October - Namosi, 11 October - Vatukoula, 18 October - Nadi
