Bua Central College Bazaar

Fiji Secondary

THE following Fiji Netball Umpires have been named to umpire at the Fiji Secondary Schools Netball Tournament to be held here in Suva on Thursday and Friday.

After the first day of Games, we will have our Fiji Umpires Netball Association meeting at the Laucala Bay Secondary Schools. This is an important meeting so all umpires are encouraged to attend, even if you are not umpiring at the Fiji Sec Schools Tournament. Time for the meeting is at 8pm in the evening.

Rewa Delta

THE Rewa Delta Uprising netball tournament will be held in Nausori on August 30. Registration fee is $70. Winner will get $300. First 16 teams will be accommodated. Contact Vakaloloma 3561417 and Jese 8783866.

Suva

TO all NewWorld Suva Netball players in the Open and U21 Squad for Nationals please be at training during your sessions: Open Grade: Mondays and Wednesday from 5.30-7.30pm in Court 3 at the National Netball Centre. U21: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5.30-7.30pm in Court 2 at the National Netball Centre.

RUGBY

Ba Provincial Holdings 7s

THE Ba Provincial Holdings 7s tournament will be held at Nadovu Park in Lautoka on August 22 and 23. Registration fee is $150. Contact Samuela Saubale on 6669534.

Bua Central College Bazaar Rugby 7s

THE Bua Central College Bazaar Rugby 7s tournament will be held at the Bua Central College ground on August 15-16. The first 24 teams will be accommodated with full payment of $200 registration fee. Cup Winner walks away with $2,000. Prizes also for losing Cup finalist and other categories as well. Additionally, 8 teams will be accommodated for the U19 competition with $80 registration fee. Winner walks away with $400. Accepted forms of ID's for U-19 are Election ID cards, school ID cards with monogram and FSSRU ID's. No birth certificate and passport photo will be accepted. Fiji U18 Schoolboys

THE following boys are to attend the second trial on Wednesday, August 20. There will be a medical and fitness screening on August 19th, a day before the trial. The final trial will be held in Suva with the venue to be confirmed by the FSSRU executives. The final 30 member squad will be announced straight after the trial and will march into camp on Friday, August 22nd at Laucala Bay Secondary School.

THE Lokia Youth 7s tournament will be held at the Lokia ground on August 30. Entry fee is $85 and only 16 teams will be accommodated. The main prize is $500 and runner-up gets $200. Prizes also for plate winners and runner-up. Ten teams will be accommodated for the netball competition. Entry fee is $35 and winner will get $110. Entry fee is due on August 25. THE Saint Thomas Aquinas 7s tournament will be held at the Montfort Boys Town school ground on August 29-30. The first 32 teams will be accommodated with a registration fee of $150. THE Perfect Aluminum Rewa Delta Uprising 7s tournament will be held in Nausori on August 29 and 30. Winner will receive $1500, runner-up $700. Consolation prizes for losing semi-finalists, plate and bowl category. Only first 32 teams will be accommodated. Registration is $170 and closes on August 22. National Championships

THE Fulton Hogan Highways National Squash Championships would be held from August 25 to 30 at the Northern Club, Planters Squash Club and Suva simultaneously and the finalists would play in Suva on August 30. Entries close on August 22 and entries can be paid at SportsWorld stores. A national training squad for the 2015 Pacific Games and the Commonwealth Youth Games would be selected from this competition.
