Update: 6:49PM THE three months taboo for the people of Ra came to an end today.

More than 4000 people from the 93 villages in the province gathered at the Ra High School for the thanksgiving service, led by Reverend Apete Toko.

Ra Methodist Division chief steward Poniani Tabaka said the journey to success and prosperity begins now - following a World Bank Report that Ra has been dubbed the poorest province in Fiji.

They have also embarked on a three- year programme to be able to achieve this provincial success plan.
