THE Sila Central High School under-18 side is leaving no stone unturned as it gears up to fight for the fifth spot for Eastern zone in the Coca-Cola Zero Deans Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby Union Tier Two finals today.

The team is set to face a tough battle against Natabua High School at 2.40pm at Bidesi Park in Suva.

The winner of this match will face the loser of the Tier One U18 play-off between Suva Grammar and Navuso Methodist High School which will also be played today.

Sila Central High School is hoping Navuso beats Grammar and maintains its spot in the top tier.

Team coach Samisoni Baikeitoga said they respected Natabua given they were the second best from the Western Zone.

Baikeitoga, who is also the Fiji U18 Schoolboys backline coach, said they preferred the underdog status in the showdown.

"They will be a strong side and we respect them. This match is important to us and we would do our best to get that fifth spot for the Eastern Zone," Baikeitoga said.

"The players' confidence has grown and the morale is quite high."

Baikeitoga is calling on the support of former scholars for the match.
