North students flock to university open day

Update: 12:09PM THOUSANDS of students from around Vanua Levu are taking advantage of the educational displays at the USP open day in Labasa.

Students from as far as Cakaudrove and Bua had the opportunity to learn first hand the programs offered at the university.

Chief guest and acting Commissioner Northern Alipate Bolalevu said the USP campus in Labasa continued to play a major role in the development of human resources in the North and impact the future of our young generation.

The open day is held at the Katonivere Grounds.
