PREPARATION for the Miss World International Pageant is going well for Miss World Fiji Charlene Tafuna'i, says director Andhy Blake.

Mr Blake said at the moment, they were working on her schedule before they incorporated all the invitations from other stakeholders who have requested her appearance.

"For the months of October and September, we will focus on her grooming. Things like fitness, beauty, make-up tips, she will be working with Toast Masters Fiji to improve her presentation in public.

"And then of course, her Beauty with a Purpose project which is the main component of the Miss World International pageant," Mr Blake said.

He said this year, his focus was to educate Charlene on the Miss World organisation, the pageant and its history.

"The flavour of pageant changes every year. I was looking at the pageant for the last two years and I noticed there has been a similarity in the winners they chose."
