NEWWORLD Suva Netball Association will be holding its Annual Awards Night at the Vine Yard Palace Restaurant on Saturday, August 9th from 6pm - 12am. Bua Central College Rugby 7s

THE Bua Central College Bazaar Rugby 7s tournament will be held at the Bua Central College ground on August 15-16. The first 24 teams will be accommodated with full payment of $200 registration fee. Cup Winner walks away with $2000. Prizes also for losing cup finalist and other categories as well. Additionally, 8 teams will be accommodated for the U19 competition with $80 registration fee. Winner walks away with $400. Accepted forms of ID's for U-19 are Election ID cards, school ID cards with monogram and FSSRU ID's. No birth certificate and passport photo will be accepted. Lokia Youth 7s

THE Lokia Youth 7s tournament will be held at the Lokia ground on August 30. Entry fee is $85 and only 16 teams will be accommodated. The main prize is $500 and runner-up gets $200. Prizes also for plate winners and runner-up. Ten teams will be accommodated for the netball competition. Entry fee is $35 and winner will get $110. Entry fee is due on August 25. Our Lady of Assumption Parish 7s

THE tournament will be held on August 15 and 16. 32 teams will be accommodated in the 7s tournament with registration fee of $200. Cup winner $2000, runner-up $1000, plate winner $500, plate runner-up $250, bowl winner $300 and runner-up $150. Netball - in open women's grade, 24 teams will be accommodated with registration fee of $100. Winner gets $600 while runner-up $300. Veteran women's grade (35 years above) - six teams with $100 registration fee. Winner: $400, Runner up: $200. Mixed grade (5 Men and 2 Women) - 8 teams, registration fee $100. SNOOKER

Southern Division Open

THE Southern Division Billiards and Snooker Association will host an open tournament sponsored by David Ratnam on the August 9 and 10 at the Nausori Club from 10am. Entry fee is $25 and lunch would be provided. Winner gets $200, runner up gets $100 and each of the semi-finalists get $50. Dress code will be formal for both days. A T-shirt will be provided for tournament play. No flip flops, open shoes, round neck, vests or any ungentle manly attire will be tolerated. Entries close on the August 7 at 5pm.

NOTE: A Special General Meeting will be held on Saturday to elect the SDBSA committee.

THE Lautoka Volleyball Association invites business houses in Lautoka and Nadi to their Business House Competition which will start this Friday from 5pm at the Lautoka multi-purpose courts. Nadi International Airport

The 10th Nadi International Airport Stakeholders tournament will be held at the Prince Charles Park on September 6. The Tarakoro & registration will be on the evening of September 5. Categories: Men, Women, Mixed, Masters Men & Women (38yrs & over). Masters teams must submit proof of age by a copy of either birth certificate, driver's license or voters registration ID.
