YAT Sen Primary School yesterday opened its week-long Chinese Cultural Paradise in Suva — a summer camp which teaches and promotes Chinese cultural art and activities to students.

Twelve senior teachers from China are in the country to teach cultural activities including dancing, martial arts, kirigami, music, poetry and calligraphy.

Chinese ambassador Huang Yong, while opening the event, said last year's camp was a success enabling teachers and students to improve their talent and experience the charm of Chinese culture.
